We have started this page to help homeschool families on Long Island find support and classes and events and long time friends.
If you want to know how to homeschool in New York- Long Island, this is the place. We are a diverse group of people from all walks of life that have one thing in common, the education of our children and what is best for them.
Homeschool Legal Defense Association is a great ally. They will help ANYONE if your right to homeschool has been violated.
Our members are Long Island families in Suffolk County, Nassau County, Queens, East End, South Fork, North Fork, Brooklyn and even some in NYC.
So if you are homeschooling on Long Island or thinking of homeschooling on Long Island we hope to be able to help you make the decision as to whether homeschooling is going to be a good fit for you.
